We had our first meeting of the month with all the members going to Cambodia. It looks like our numbers have leveled out and there will now only be 8 of us going. We had a chance tonight to get to know eachother a little better and ask some questions that we've been pondering. I started my new Care manager position at work on Monday and it is keeping me busy from 9-5. I am not as physically tired as I was before, but this job really drains me of my mental energy. So if I zone out while you are talking to me, just slap me across the face:)
I am completely funded now, and thank you to all who donated or worked on fundraisers to contribute, you are such a blessing.

- My interest in Global Health started at the age of 4. My family was living in a community of nomadic goat herders in the desert of Northern Kenya doing translation and literacy work with Wycliffe. I sat next to my father as he cared for the children of the village with cuts or minor burns. The health disparities I witnessed in this community inspired me to become a nurse, and to commit my life to bring holistic healing to those suffering around the world.
